BOYS BASKETBALL
Lisbon 64, Wellsville 53 — AJ Ramgeet (26) and Blaine Barnes (21) both eclipsed the 20 point mark for Lisbon. Barnes 21 points came on seven 3–pointers. Logan Sturgeon added 10 for the Blue Devils. Austin Adkins was the games leading scorer, scoring 29 for Wellsville.
Grand Valley 63, Pymatuning Valley 53 — Carter Turk knocked down five 3–pointers and scored 26 overall for Grand Valley. Evan Skrtic added 10 for the Mustangs. Justin Britton had 24 and Chase Guysinger had 14 for Pymatuning Valley.
Howland 57, LaBrae 37 — Howland’s duo of Ta-Shawn Fambro and Luca Naples scored 14 points each. Carter Saul added 13. LaBrae was led by Austin Rowe with 12 points.
Columbiana 54, South Range 53 — Hunter Davanzo led Columbiana with 14 points, including seven in the fourth to seal a Columbiana victory in a game that was tied at 20 at halftime. Davanzo also had nine rebounds for the Clippers. Cooper Brown added 13. Nick Toy (16) and Tommy Titus (15) led the way for South Range.
Canfield 67, Poland 41 — Landon Shina scored 14 to lead Canfield. The Cardinals also got double digit scoring from Joey Gabriel (13) and Jace Riccardo (12). Poland’s Carmine Tukalo was the games leading scorer with 15 points.
Southeast 75, Salem 43 — Cohen Richardson scored 35 points, including 11 in the first and four 3–pointers for Southeast. Deontay Steele had 13 points for Salem and Ty Manion and Jack Andres added 12 points each.
Springfield 49, Crestview 36 — Landon Dyer recorded a double double for Springfield with 10 points and 10 rebounds, along with four steals. Matt Wymer added 10 points and Steve Morgan had a strong all around performance with nine points, five blocks, and five rebounds. Crestview was led by Elijah Cope and Carter Love with nine points each.
Champion 54, Lordstown 52 — Marky Nolan scored 30 points, including the go ahead basket with seven seconds left to lead Champion. Nolan made four 3–pointers. Braylen Braham added 11 for the Flashes. Ganon Force scored 17 for Lordstown. Seth Chambers (11) and Jonah Force (10) also had good outings for Lordstown.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Highland 79, South Range 40 — Madi Morgan scored 18 to lead Highland. Rowan Kildoo (15), Alana Weingart (11) and Emeri Gausman (10) all reached double figures. For South Range, Sophia Lucente led with eight points.
Warren Harding 56, Chardon 23 — Ja’Leah Provitt led a dominant Harding performance with 18 points and four steals. Trinity Taylor added 12 points and three assists and Akeelha Barnes had nine points and 12 rebounds. Azarriah Phillips added 11 for the Raiders.
Green 45, Howland 34 — Lucy Zwier scored 14 points to lead Green. Howland was led by Maya Kubancsek with 15 points and Mia Thomas with 10.
Carrollton 47, Salem 40 — Ivy Bishop scored 16 points to lead Carrollton. Kylie Ujcich added 10 points. Salem was led by Abby Knickerbocker with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Poland 65, Struthers 35 — Briella Rowe scored 23 for Poland. Rowe also knocked down three 3–pointers. Brooklyn Karco added 15. Natalie Wolikow led Struthers with 14 points.
Louisville 47, Ursuline 41 — Ella Tillett scored 14 to lead Louisville. Kennedy Carpenter scored 11 to lead Ursuline.
WRESTLING
Howland 53, Chardon 30
Howland had a strong performance against Chardon in a head to head match up. Collin Montgomery, Brayden Cortese, Robert Clark and Logan Adams got wins via forfeit. Patrick Neff, Chase Weber, and Deacon Mock all secured pinfall victories for the Tigers. Aidan O’Donnell won via technical fall and Eddie Morrison won via pinfall in just 40 seconds.
