BOYS SOCCER
Cardinal Mooney 7, Canton Central Catholic 0 — Mooney got two goals each from Mihali Frangos, Jacob Gugliotta, and Donovan Whetstone to improve to 5-2-1 on the season. Dimitri Zoumis also added a goal and Noah Truwella had four saves in goal. Emerson Schwiger made 17 saves for Canton Central Catholic (4-3).
Canfield 4, Boardman 0 — Canfield improved to 6-1 behind two goals and two assists from Drew Snyder. Ty Novotny and Ryan Dangol each added a goal as well for the Cardinals.

Maplewood 5, Pymatuming Valley 5 — Morgan Himes scored five goals on ten shots to pace Maplewood in a draw. Lauren Krieg added 26 saves in goal for the Rockets, while Claire Urchek assisted on two goals.
VOLLEYBALL
Newton Falls 3, Brookfield 2 — Torrie Fanton recorded her 1,000th career assist and recorded 36 for the game to lead Newton Falls from behind in five sets, 18-25, 25-21, 25-20, 27-29, and 15-9. Fanton recorded 36 assists in the match, along with 24 points and 22 digs. Also contributing for the Tigers was Kate Holesko with 20 points, Jada Blutcher with 18 kills, and Hanna Wright with 12 kills.
South Range 3, Niles 0 — South Range swept Niles 25-10, 25-21, and 25-10 to improve to 9-4 overall and remain undefeated (6-0) in North East 8 conference play. Anna Toy led the way for the Raiders, tallying 20 kills, 15 digs, and 8 aces. Addison Freedy added 16 assists, 5 kills and 4 digs.
Poland 3, Struthers 0 — Poland edged Struthers 26-24, 28-26, 25-16 in three matches. Trynyty Nail led Struthers with 37 digs, while Gianna Martin added 14 kills and 7 blocks for the Wildcats.
LaBrae 3, Southeast 0 — Khloe Sanderson paced LaBrae with 3 aces and 16 digs to sweep Southeast 25-16, 25-19, and 25-9. Brielle Stout added 7 kills and 1 block for the Vikings.

Crestview 3, Garfield 0 — Crestview remained undefeated (10-0, 8-0 MVAC) with a sweep of Garfield 25-11, 25-11, and 25-10. Lainy Auer led the Rebels with 23 kills, 13 digs, and three aces. Sophia Stewart notched 33 assists, while the trio of Bella Ciapala, Sophia Noling, and Cam Davidson had five kills each.
Lakeview 3, Hubbard 1 — Lakeview won in four sets 26-25, 21-25, 25-22, and 25-13. Annaliese DeJulio led the Bulldogs with 16 serve points and seven aces. CeCe DeToro added 35 assists and Cady Esker had 13 kills to lead the Bulldog defensive attack.
Columbiana 3, Southern 1 — Despite dropping a set Columbiana (8-0) remained undefeated, beating Southern 25-22, 21-25, 25-20, and 25-16. Landry Smith paced the Clippers with 18 kills, three points, two blocks, and an ace. Addisyn Dangler added 12 points and kills, as well as four aces and two blocks.
St. John 3, Badger 0 — St. John took down Badger in straight sets 25-9, 25-19, and 25-19. The Braves were led by Lilly Schmidt with nine assists, and Allison Price and Sarah Miller with seven kills each.
Howland 3, Girard 2 — Howland (7-2, 1-1 AAC) erased a two match deficit to defeat Girard 25-19, 31-33, 24-26, 25-9, and 15-8 in the deciding match. Maya Kubancsek had 37 kills for the Tigers, while Talia Rishel added 52 assists. Grace Kukkonen also added 10 kills.

AAC CHAMPIONSHIPS
Canfield took home the American Athletic Conference Championship on Tuesday at Mill Creek South Golf Club. The Cardinals totaled a score of 297 led by Mick Ambrose who shot one under par with a 69. Nathan Miller and Danny Chaplin also had a strong showing for the Cardinals shooting 70 and 72 to round out the top 3 individual scorers. Boardman took second place with a total of 317 led by Milo Wright’s 77. Howland shot a team total 339, led by Justin Keadings 76. Fitch golfer Braeden Sallee shot a 75 to finish 4th individually, while the Falcons tallied 368 as a team. Warren Harding had just two golfers combining for a +52 to round out the competition. Anthony Dicesare and Parker Karafa shot 88 and 104 for the Raiders.

The Canfield girls also brought home an American Athletic Conference Championship at Mill Creek South Golf Club on Tuesday. Natalie Sawicki led the Cardinals to a team total 322, while shooting a 79 to lead all individuals. Her Cardinal teammates Alexandra Conley (80), Lorin Sam (81), Aubree Phillibin (82), and Laney Kleeh (82) rounded out the top 5 individual scores. Boardman came in second place with a score of 414 led by an 84 from Gianna Ross. Sloan Wolanzyk shot Howland into third place with a 94 and a team total of 427. Austintown Fitch totaled 450 with their best scorer coming from Kourtney Fedorek’s 111. Warren Harding also competed with only three golfers, totaling a 407.
