BOYS SOCCER

Bristol 3, Grand Valley 1 – Carson Weston scored twice and Ethan Kimak added another goal for Bristol. Gus Workman, Logan Briggs, and Lawrence Workman had an assist each for the Panthers. Bristol goalie Ethan Clark made 17 saves.

GIRLS SOCCER

Niles 3, Hubbard 1 – Maddie Yost scored twice and Niles (12-0-1) remained unbeaten. Kherington Stanford scored a goal and assisted twice for the Dragons. Taylor Bickerstaff also assisted on a goal.

Warren JFK 2, Carrollton 1 – Saumya Sheth and Sophia Tilley scored a goal each as JFK edged Carrollton. Ellie Niemi and Sophia Bonacker assisted on a goal each. Eagles goalie Celia LaFuria made four saves.

Maplewood 8, Middlefield Cardinal 2 – Four different players scored for Maplewood, led by Morgan Himes with four goals and an assist. Torri Shipman added a pair of goals for the Rockets and Raegan Krieg and Claire Urchek had a goal each. Urchek also had three assists.

Springfield 9, Newton Falls 1 – Maddie Page notched three goals to lead the Springfield (10-2-1) offense. Kristina Vecchione and Olivia Zitkovic added a pair of goals each. Rylie Wolfe and Dani Crump also found the net for the Tigers. Newton Falls (1-12) lone goal was scored by Mia DeCesare.

Lakeview 8, Badger 1 – The Lakeview trio of Annabelle Humphrey, MaKenna Doran, and Aurora Hall scored two goals each. The Bulldogs also got a goal each from Sophie Irwin and Leah Clark. Irwin also had two assists.

Canfield 4, Howland 3 – Lorieona Jannone scored three times, leading Canfield (9-3) to a close victory. Ginna Marino added a goal and Carlyn McCormick had an assist for the Cardinals. Elliot Klimas made eight saves in goal.

Poland 8, Struthers 0 – Ashlyn Kushner scored a pair of goals, and six others had a goal each for Poland. Ellie Lewis had two assists and a goal, and other goals were also scored by Dulci DiGregorio, Amber Hawkins, Kennedy Henderson, Eliana Lloyd, and Avery Smith.

VOLLEYBALL

Chalker 3, Bloomfield 1 – After splitting the first two sets, Chalker pulled away to win the final two sets 25-8, 6-25, 25-16, and 25-6. Hailey Ishman had 16 points and five kills for Bloomfield. Peyton Koon added 16 digs and five aces and Aniyla Doll also had 16 digs. Dellanie Murphy had five aces.

East Palestine 3, Valley Christian 0 – Amara Wilson had 23 points, six digs, and six aces to lead East Palestine (8-8) 25-7, 25-14, and 25-8. Kennedy Andre added 13 points, 13 assists, six digs, and six aces for the Bulldogs.

Springfield 3, Sebring 0 – Springfield won in a sweep 25-15, 25-16, and 25-13. Julia Vecchione had nine aces, seven digs, and five kills for the Tigers. Emily Conner added seven aces and Erika Grinstead had six kills.

McDonald 3, Western Reserve 0 – McDonald (11-1) won 25-12, 25-10, and 25-13. Sophia Pecchia had 11 kills for McDonald. Halle Kuntz added 15 points, seven kills, and four aces. Western Reserve was led by Chloeigh Endsley with seven kills.

Badger 3, Windham 0 – Kyleigh Hall had 19 assists, 16 points, six aces and six digs to lead Badger (9-8) 25-9, 25-21, and 25-6. Bri Lendak added 14 points, 11 kills, and five aces for the Braves.

Maplewood 3, Bristol 0 – Maplewood won in straight sets 25-14, 25-13, and 25-10. The Rockets were led by Lauran Krieg with 13 assists, four aces, and a block.

Campbell 3, Lowellville 0 – Jada Smith had 15 kills to lead the Campbell sweep 25-13, 25-14, and 25-8. Daja Will added 33 assists, four aces, and two blocks. Elysia Rudolphi had 11 digs and seven kills.

Ursuline 3, Girard 0 – No stats were provided.

Columbiana 3, Cardinal Mooney 2 – Columbiana (16-1) got the win in a back and forth match 25-19, 23-25, 25-20, 17-25, and 16-14. Evy Rapp led the Clippers with 19 digs, 12 points, 11 kills, and three aces. Addisyn Dangler added 21 kills, three points, two blocks, one ace, and one dig. Eva Waller added 43 assists for the Clippers.

Niles 3, Lordstown 0 – Niles won 25-23, 25-19, and 25-22. Lordstown was led by Kaycee Was with 12 assists and three blocks and Mia Giesey with seven kills.
