Poland 16, Niles 0 (5 inn.) — The Bulldogs caught fire in the opening frame Monday to lead to the throttling of the Red Dragons. Leading the 16-hit Poland offense was Elliana Thompson with a triple and single, Addison Draa drove in a pair of runs, Leanna Boccieri doubled and drove in a game-high four runs, Kylee Hudran doubled and singled twice, Cassie Blanch and Maddison Medvec each had a pair of hits and RBIs, and Lillian McDonald lent a double. Medvec also picked up the win in the circle for the Bulldogs, allowing one walk and two hits while striking out eight in the complete game. Airiana Jones was given the loss for Niles, throwing two innings while giving up 10 hits, walking five and fanning none.
