Sound off!

We need the truth. Husted's ads are lies. One ad states Brown approves of sex change surgery on children. He does not. Soren is from Texas, had surgery at 19. Then a picture of a frightened child. This is deceptive! Another ad states that Husted has "character." Would a person of "character" be associated with the worst corruption case in Ohio history? FirstEnergy gave him a million dollars for his campaign. We got higher electric bills. We need Sherrod Brown.

Are you better off today than you were two years ago? The answer is no.

I have always been passionate about defending democracy, adhering to the Constitution, following the wisdom of the Founding Fathers. But even I am beginning to fade. I am being worn down by the constant attack ads, labeling people to demean their capabilities, denouncing the media as fake -- something proven to be untrue. This campaign is designed to destroy individual will, independent thinking and turn all of us into subjects of the king. And that scares the heck out of me.

Trump now sees labeling his self-praise TV commercials as paid for by the U.S. government is a bad idea. He claims his super PAC will pay for them. I want to see the receipts since the chronic liar has yet to pay DOGE dividends, tariff dividends, or court settlements. He is not all of government. It's time for voters to draw his attention to that matter and vote him completely out of public office.

Venezuelan crude oil, if we can get any, is difficult to refine into useful oil and can't be stored with our reserve oil stock. It might keep Hegseth's hair in place since he loves crassness. He is lethal. Especially to pillowcases he sleeps on or pulls over his head after cutting eye holes in them.

The article of 9/29/26 by Clarence Page about public versus private schools was spot on. So was the Vindy article by David Skolnick. Using property taxes to fund schools means rich kids get a better education than rural or inner-city kids. We should want equal opportunity. Phasing out the "Corporate Franchise Tax" reduced business taxes and increased property taxes. Inner-city schools score between 2 and 3 stars on the Performance Index while wealthier areas score between 4 and 5 stars. Poorer education creates a cycle of poor people, crime and worse health.

Each day in the life of our crooked administration, I wonder if a book could even be written that would actually show just what a TOTAL mess Trump and company have made of our government and our nation, how absurd all of it is, and then I realize that MANY books WILL be written, MANY are probably in the works as we speak. And MANY from Trump's inner circle, now denying all to save themselves. VOTE RESPONSIBLY.

In the '60s and '70s, this area was thriving with the steel and auto industries. Do I remember hearing trains, cranes and seeing smoke pipes firing away? Yes, I do. Here I am 50 years later still walking, talking & breathing. What I see now: Online banking, teaching, tax preparation, shopping, travel planning. A lot of job loss. You might have to give the data centers a chance or you will see schools, cities and townships merging.

November's election gives every Ohioan the opportunity to vote for candidates of character and integrity funded by grassroots donations, NOT DARK MONEY or huge donations in EXCHANGE for GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS. DON'T let R voters buy elections! Ramaswamy makes promises but WON'T keep them. History shows that his goal is self-enrichment, just like 47. Husted is a grifter that arranged multiple data centers for his benefit, impacted Ohio water, and RAISED every voter's ELECTRIC BILL. Neither will benefit Ohioans. Vote for honesty: Dr. Amy Acton for governor and Sherrod Brown for Senate!

Liberal Democrats' favorite things: high crime, high taxes, wasteful spending, fraud, rigged elections, open borders, drag queens, masks, men in women's sports, socialism, lying to get elected, sanctuary cities and fake news. They also hate the police, America, the flag, voter ID, the military and God. How are they going to fix anything?

We've had artificial intelligence in America for years. It's called Congress!

I think I just saw the most foolish political ad ever. An ad by Amy Acton has a woman saying that Vivek Ramaswamy will take away her Social Security. Since when does a governor have the authority to do anything to Social Security? He doesn't, but because of their hatred for Donald Trump, some people will believe this. Political insiders have a name for these people; it's "useful idiots."

I would like to comment on Sherrod Brown ads. First, gender-change surgeries in Ohio are illegal because of the Republican House and Senate in Ohio. Brown is on record saying he would never vote to stop them. The 490,000 people who could lose healthcare are those on Medicaid who shouldn't be there, like illegal immigrants. The most disturbing is one where the woman says she can't pay for gas to go to church. When did Democrats ever care about church? They stopped services during COVID-19, but let strip clubs open.
