Please help with the following requests: Get us out of the WAR in Iran, open the Strait of Hormuz, back off Canada, give U.S. the tariff $$ you promised, quit the tariff BS, submit the health-care reform plan you promised 10 years ago, fire your high-IQ department head minions, don't meddle in our already fair elections, REGULATE AI before it's too late, quit BS-ing us lower IQ citizens of our once proud country! Regards, us.

I love the ad criticizing Sherrod Brown for voting with other Democrats. What does every Republican do when they bow to Trump on every issue? The hypocrisy is staggering. But his supporters are too dumb, with a "b," to realize it!

You Ungrateful Americans! President Trump has made us No. 1 again. According to The Vindy of Sept. 12-13, you stated that the highest-ever costs for diesel fuel is what the transportation and trucking industry is paying. Congratulations, America. We ARE No. 1 again!

The 9/11 victims were not just Americans. They were from all religions and other countries. They were united in the fact that they came from many different religions and were people of different skin colors. They were persons of ALL sexual preferences. Younger people must stop attacking others in the name of God. That is what the hijackers did in the name of their God. Lee Greenwood's song "God Bless the USA" doesn't belong to one political party. It was written for America. No one party owns the AMERICAN flag.

I've cheated on my wife. I've promised to lower costs, end wars, and not start new wars. All lies. I denigrate anyone who disagrees with me, admire our enemies, and disparage our allies. I've enriched my family and myself through the presidency. I've raised costs by my tariffs and the war I started. And yet, my followers still worship me and buy my gold shoes, bibles, coins, etc. Thank you for being so gullible. I no longer need you.

YES, the Supreme Court got this one right. 47 can't use the Post office to screen ballots. It's a state not federal oversight. This however is not the end. Odds are ICE will do something before or during the election. 47 may even try to seize ballots. There will be court challenges as it was in 2020, but 47 will lose case after case, because he won't have proof. But he will continue to lie that it was rigged.

Wimpy always told Popeye "I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today." Trump is Wimpy and the burger is $5k he claims he will give you for your vote. You will get the dough as Popeye got a burger -- never. Or, maybe, after your tariff dividends, or DOGE savings. Time for you to say "I've had all I can stands and I can't stands no more!" and VOTE. Your vote is immeasurably more valuable than $5k plus a burger even if the chronic liar actually intends to pay up.

Hegseth must be removed if this war in Iran is to end! He has limited military experience compared to those he has fired or driven out, many 4-star generals and admirals with years of experience and expertise. Hegseth is intimidated by these officers and was NEVER COMPETENT for the position. He even blocked promotions recommended by their commanders without knowing their qualifications. Many were females or black who were blocked to change the military culture to ALL WHITE AND MALE or for personal/political reasons.

I think the AI developer who pays the largest "donation" to Trump PACs will be the least regulated. That company will become the largest of its type and by the logic of free enterprise will win the ability to ruin any competitor. That "win" will be made easier as the AI entity will do without human leadership or labor. So long as the electricity rolls in the machine will function in its own interest. Vote for tight government regulation, now.

The Victor Joecks column printed Sept. 9th suggests we cannot be virtuous without being anchored in the Bible. According to Scripture, God has a specific plan for each of us. If that plan was for a person to be without virtue, don't blame our government or schools. Dogma is inherited and the First Amendment prohibits the establishment of such. Contrary to what Joecks writes, family and churches still inculcate virtue and like most theists, nontheists have moral and ethical convictions.

We all see the political ads. Each side finds people who are able to disparage his/her opponent. Each side also finds ways to say he/she is the savior of our state. Both sides do have something to offer. If compromise was in political vocabulary, we wouldn't be subject to all this polarization. At the end of the day, each of us has to ask who will best serve our state's needs. Listen to your gut, not the brainwashing campaigns.

Disgusting to read about the person who highlighted his father's COVID death only to place blame on Dr. Amy Acton with the hidden agenda of endorsing her opponent. Dad would be proud or maybe not. Another wrote that his deceased wife was still listed on voting rolls, then displayed his true colors by adding, "Dead people always vote Democrat, is it true?" Dear Editor, might it be time to end the political gibberish by printing only respectable and interesting comments?

Some of us here on the neglected lower 1st Ward are sick of some Hispanic people either blasting that awful music all day/night. They've commandeered the McGuffey Plaza. Last Friday they were up/down Albert, Garland and McGuffey 20 Cars deep, blocking traffic and also on 3-wheelers and dirt bikes. Zero regard. Aug. 1, they blocked off Lansing and Oak from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. No permit, but blasting that noise claiming they're hosting a back-to-school event! My butt!

During Trump's recent mid-term extravaganza in Dallas, he asked supporters to "cheat like hell" to help Republicans win the midterm election. He also repeated his promise to send all U.S. adults a $5,000 check, but only if Republicans retain control of Congress. This sure smells like cheating and bribery. Expect much more of the same coming from the party of fiscal conservatives and Christian values. Exercise your right and put an end to this political embarrassment. VOTE!

Be mindful of the person you vote for governor, or Ohio could end up like New York City!!!

what has happened to Ohio? Ramaswamy's ads are shameful. They are disgusting and cruel. Acton AND DeWine closed Ohio during COVID. The depiction of Acton injured falling over a dog gate is cruel. Belittling ads are despicable. Remember Ramaswamy teamed up with Musk to create DOGE, a complete failure. Ramaswamy may have gone to public grade school but he went to a private all-male high school, St. Xavier. Remember the Golden Rule.

I watch CNN, Fox News, MSNOW and Newsmax. I like to be balanced in my information. However I have noticed that the bulk of Fox and Newsmax is just showing what's on the other two channels (stuff I've already seen) and then letting you know how you should think about what you just saw. Since I don't have a lot of time left in this world, I'm going to stop watching Fox and Newsmax and start thinking for myself.

This guy in the White House can't even "lie" straight anymore -- pledging to give everyone $5,000 if the GOP wins the midterms. Under U.S. Federal Law, it is illegal to give payments that are intended to influence voting. How's the saying go: Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.

The KENNEDY CENTER opened as a "memorial" to JFK and was operating perfectly well with The National Orchestra, plays and selected performers until Trump decided to put his own name before JFK's name, angering many for this disrespectful act. Only then did the problems occur. Trump fired the longstanding Board, installed his own and appointed himself head. Trump has ruined this memorial to JFK. Why the need to steal another man's glory?

TV ad a guy driving by a Beautiful IMMACULATE CLEAN WHITE facility and campus. Slight wisps of vapor showing in the wind. He "says" it is DESTROYING HIS Community. growing up blocks away from Center Street Bridge and the mills in the 60's and now within hearing of Route 80, Vallourec, Metalico, etc., how the heck is that data center worse ? How is it destroying anything? Please someone help me!

-- Girard

Data Centers are essential for the survival of the American lifestyle. They back critical systems like hospitals, 911 dispatch, government databases, and utilities. They enable online banking, shopping, and credit card checkouts. Jon Husted helped bring these important structures to this state and he should be thanked for his efforts.

LDS (Liberal Derangement Syndrome): It's OK to kill conservative Charlie Kirk, but lunging at Democrat Amy Acton is reason for riot.
