Jon Meacham, author, historian and news commentator, has said "...many Republicans sold their souls to Donald Trump only to have the check bounce ...".If you're one of them, send your political contributions to the campaign of any Democratic candidate, not the DNC, and you may help save America from a grasping grifter, liar and criminal. Never has $20 meant so much for so many.

If you're helping to clean up the storm damage in Mill Creek Park, know that the director stated they have insurance to cover damages and also reimbursement insurance for expenses. Your property tax dollars are bringing in millions yearly for the park. It would be nice if those affected could have access to these kinds of funds. A tree service could have cleared the trees on the golf courses had they worked quickly like Tippecanoe did. Their course will be open and they aren't asking the public to do it.

This administration wants the info on all voters from the blue states. Trump wants our ER hospital visit records. Hegseth wants the testosterone levels of all military personnel checked. These are invasions of privacy. Does anyone realize there are HIPAA laws? Or are laws becoming obsolete in this administration?

A road-trip to Detroit to cross the new Gordie Howe bridge to Windsor, Ontario, Canada, could be fun if you keep your receipts for the bridge toll and any money spent for meals or souvenirs or rooms in Canada. Send your receipts, credit card numbers redacted, to your congressman or the White House. Include a note that you just wanted to visit a country with a functioning government and no grifter-in-chief.

When you think Trump can't stoop any lower, he claims "election interference" by the Chinese in the 2020 election. Odd that they did not interfere in 2016 or 2024, when he won. I hope I am wrong but I foresee him claiming martial law and suspending the November mid-terms to prevent the Democrats taking back the House and Senate and another impeachment. I voted for the con man before but will definitely NOT vote for him when he tries to abolish the 22nd Amendment.

To the writer who doesn't like ice cream trucks. You may have still had a happy childhood without one but what's wrong with this being a nice memory for some other kids? My kids who are in their 30s now still remark about running for the truck when they were young. With so many neighborhood traditions gone for good, why lose another one? I, in fact, love hearing Turkey in the Straw play because that is something my dad played on the piano all of the time when I was young and then taught it to my children.

Regarding the letter on Boardman debris pickup, it was mentioned numerous times on the news stations. They were to start in Boardman and work their way to Austintown and then Canfield. This was and still is a combined effort. I saw township trucks from Boardman and Austintown along with a third one. You can't blame. It was reported that they would come by only once so get your debris to the curb. Looking at the numerous trees down in our neighborhood, they're doing a wonderful job.

Trump plans to fine Canada for their forest fires. I guess he has an executive order entitling himself to accuse them of incompetent forest floor raking if they don't name their new Ontario bridge after him and give him part of the toll income. Next he will fine the Almighty for every lightening strike as though he has powers to do that, too.

Pete Hegseth should get all male GOP members of Congress testosterone as their resolve to preserve and protect the Constitution is less stiff than his hair. Pete's and 47s job performances, more limp than most lame ducks, may also benefit from a shot.

Markwayne Mullin took too many kicks to his head during his MMA cage career. Thus he believes he is empowered to punish state elections personnel who "don't take what I give them" and allow Trump to edit their voter rolls. Markwayne should read the Constitution, which clearly designates only states will determine their election procedures. Maybe he and his administration colleagues need time in a new cage to contemplate their STD (slavish Trump devotion).
