Trump’s report card is not impressive
DEAR EDITOR:
As of this writing, the current president has been in office for one year and two months; time to apply a written evaluation, aka a report card.
For the sake of this discussion, let’s take his promises during the campaign as his chosen subjects and his goals as the rating objective; here we go:
Ukrainian War: End it in one day. Without the need for explanation.
Grade: F
Drill, Baby, Drill: This would ensure readily available, cheap gasoline for us all.
Grade: F
No New Wars: Joint Israeli military campaign against Iran.
Grade: F
End Inflation: 2.4% rise since he took office.
Grade: F
Reducing the National Debt: Since he took office, it has risen a little over $3 trillion and is rising:
Grade: F
Staying with the “how’s he doing,” in reference to being where he needs to be, or as noted when you were in school, “days absent,” here’s his report:
As of March of this year, Donald Trump has spent time golfing roughly 25% of his time in office. Staying with the school analogy, missing 10% or more is defined as chronic absenteeism, which would trigger mandatory intervention.
Another note, this time golfing cost the taxpayer roughly $100 million for security reasons.
A report you would not want to receive for your child.
I believe it may be time for that mandatory intervention, becoming involved and taking action to improve and prevent any further disruption to our democracy; aka: VOTE!
God bless America.
