DEAR EDITOR:

Thank you, Mr. Trump. As a once really nonpolitical person, you have shown me that we all must be more vigilant and truly wake up when choosing candidates for public office, local, state, and especially the presidency of our nation.

Thank you for showing me the symptoms of a true megalomaniac, a narcissist, a person so over- the-top consumed with himself that he can put his nation at risk all to soothe his own demands and wants.

Thank you for showing all of us racism in its purest form, not hidden but for all to see. Yes, you are a racist, sir, how otherwise you may claim. We are not just a white country, we are multicultural and multi-racial.

Thank you for showing us devious methods to erase our democracy, our history, our Constitution, the very core of our great country, along with our decency and pride in this nation as never before. Who knew we could ignore the law and get off scot-free. Thank you for teaching this to our children and grandchildren. They have learned that lying can work. Thank you for pardoning criminals while imprisoning noncriminals. Thank you for the fear now installed in our country with your police-state regime.

Thank you for showing us the difference between us and the ultra wealthy. Thank you for showing us that even the most inept and untrained can rule a country, abuse its people all the while making bundles of cash for their personal use, and at the same time make us enemies of our once great allies, and still remain in office.

Thank you for showing me that there are other countries with competent leaders and the difference between them and you. Thank you for showing us that language means so much more than ever every time you make fun of, mock and criticize people. Thank you for showing us that absence of diplomacy, honesty, integrity, tact, graciousness and kindness can reduce a once great country to becoming a laughing stock to the rest of the world all through your efforts.

Yes, Mr. Trump, you have accomplished much in your two reigns, but not all that amazing when one considers those helping you, abetting all you do, ignoring the growing needs of our country and its people while you do what you do best … whatever is good for Trump.
