DEAR EDITOR:

When masked paramilitary thugs employed by the federal government can shoot a U.S. citizen in the face without cause and not be held accountable, and when the leaders of our government spread lies suggesting the victim deserved to be killed, it’s time to admit that we no longer live in a free country. Indeed, the tactics being used against Americans by ICE “officers” have much in common with tactics used by the Gestapo and the SS in Nazi Germany.

When I contacted Congressman Mike Rulli about this matter, he parroted the lies spoken by top leaders of the fascist regime. He wrote, “a woman in Minnesota … weaponized her vehicle …”

That woman was 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good, a mother of three children who are now orphans because of the trigger-happy, fascist tactics used by ICE “officers” and endorsed by trigger-happy halfwits like Mike Rulli. (Anyone remember when he recklessly shot at teenagers who accidentally stepped onto his property?)

Video footage from the scene in Minneapolis shows that Renee Good was attempting to drive away in fear as masked, armed thugs surrounded her vehicle in a threatening manner. One of them was even reaching into her vehicle through the driver-side window, presumably to assault her.

In another video, Renee Good can be clearly seen turning her steering wheel to the right, trying to avoid hitting the masked armed thug who then shot her in the face.

So, no Mr. Rulli, she did not “weaponize her vehicle.” Maybe it’s time you went back to bagging groceries and let grown-ups lead the country.

Please understand that the murderer did exactly what Dictator Donald Trump and his fascist supporters want all ICE “officers” to do. ICE’s mission is to go into cities, locate critics of the Trump regime, stir up conflict, incite anger, fear, and panic — then, in the heat of the moment, find a pretext to kill them.

No doubt, the murderer will be hailed as a hero at MAGA Cult rallies.

Land of the free? By late 2025, over 70% of individuals in ICE detention had no criminal convictions, with many only having minor offenses like traffic violations.

Home of the brave? Then why do they hide behind masks?
