DEAR EDITOR:
I'm disappointed in Rep. Michael Rulli's support for the so-called "Big Beautiful Bill," which includes damaging cuts to Medicaid. For many in our community, Medicaid is a lifeline -- not a luxury.
By backing these cuts, Rep. Rulli is turning his back on seniors, children and working families who rely on that coverage. Worse, he's doing it without facing the people it affects.
If Rep. Rulli believes this bill is good for our district, he should explain it in a public town hall -- not just in press releases or party-line votes. Let us ask questions. Let him hear what real Ohioans are dealing with.
We deserve a representative who shows up, listens and defends his or her decisions face-to-face -- not just in Washington.
