DEAR EDITOR:

Donald Trump has spent a lifetime using people until he gets what he wants from them, then he cast them aside, like so much garbage.

As I write the Republican-dominated Senate is trying to reconcile and then pass Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill. With this,Trump and his legislative flunkies are demonstrating who they really represent. It should be of no surprise that it is the super-wealthy.

The Congressional Budget Office estimates that the passage of the big bill will add $3 trillion to our national debt,(that is a three with 12 zeros behind it.)

This additional debt will come at the expense of those who have voted for him. Do you rely on Medicaid – gutted veterans benefits – cut , national parks – gutted, clean air and water – again gutted.

My point is he doesn’t need you anymore. As he said — you’ll never have to vote again. Here in Ohio, both of our senators have voted for this bill, without a modicum of protest, although they have to know how much it will hurt most of their constituents.

That goes almost without saying that here in the sixth congressional district Mike Rulli, our stalwart congressman has to know this even more so. So, for all you voters who were suckered into voting for Trump, stop voting for Republicans — a lost party.

Americans do not like being conned. It’s time to admit that the greatest conman ever to live got you. Do something about it.
