I admit that while his whispering of "well, guess what" during several speeches creeped me out, I never believed Joe Biden was too old for the job until I read Bob Woodwards' account, in his book "WAR," of the President's failing mental acuity. The cover-up, in my opinion, was by his campaign staff. Mistake made, lesson learned.
MAGAites, however, won't ever admit Trump has any shortcomings. They prefer "doubling down" to "measuring twice and cutting once" thus explaining how corrupt 45 gave way to blatantly corrupt 47. Yet he commands blind loyalty to implied conspiracies, without benefit of facts, and belittles the research of qualified journalists.
There's no debating Omani aircraft bribes; denial of due process to all who are guaranteed it by our Constitution; market manipulation by TACO tariffs, for those with insider information; direct pay for contact bribes with Trump meme coins; undermining the rule of law by ignoring judgements and impugning the motives of judges; public threatening of anyone who disagrees with him are hallmarks of this regimes corruption. Loyal minions can't see them beyond the brims of their red hats. They don't want to. Witness Elon Musk's millions paid for a part-time non-job, the only purpose of which was to take attention away from 47's ongoing grift while instilling fear.
Elon may yet see the light. Like other Trump acolytes and appeasers, though, he'll never see any value from his investment. For the rest of us, trust in the Constitution and the rule of law in the courts. Then write, speak, protest and vote to dump Trump and the poisonous fruit of his despicable junta.
