The recent protest on Saturday, April 19 brings to light many serious issues, while not knowing, or being in denial, of factual evidence most likely attributable to heads in the sand.

Where were these and other individuals when Steward Health was operating locally from 2017-24, in continuation of its 14-year Ponzi scheme? What about its predecessor Community Health Systems, a publicly traded enterprise which also exhibited serious red flags of fraud? There are and have also been many other local fraud schemes, scams and corruption that include human trafficking as well as drug trafficking.

Lastly, with recent market conditions from emotional trading, what do seniors in retirement and close to retirement have to look forward to? Visit an investment adviser, or financial planner, continue being a sitting duck, and be victimized again?
