The seven deadly
sins from the Bible
and the Anti-Christ
DEAR EDITOR:
1). Pride … I fear I am less than, so I strut around in arrogance to compensate.
2). Covetousness … I fear you have too much and I don’t have enough.
3). Lust … I fear I am not getting enough.
4). Anger … I fear I won’t get what I want or something I have will be taken away.
5). Envy … I fear I can’t catch up to you in whatever.
6). Gluttony … I fear emptiness inside, so I fill up with food.
7). Sloth … I fear making an effort or I fear success or / and failure
All the facts say that 47 is the Anti-Christ and he has all his disciples in line to destroy our democracy and our freedom of speech.

When does obvious
become obvious
to Trump regime?
DEAR EDITOR:
I’ve written on this subject before, but I believe it is time to review.
As an investigator, an expert witness in the field of occupational incident, accident investigation, I was taught the art of investigating, what to look for, what to ask, identifying causation factors, and the art of questioning potential witnesses.
It is through the questioning of potential witnesses and often the victim themselves, that an identified trait appears, that being “cognitive bias.”
Not diving too deep into this trait but simply putting it, a cognitive bias is a deviation from the norm, what is occurring in one’s judgment. How they see things. Such individuals create their own “subjective reality,” no matter what the facts may show.
When such a decision or judgment is made, such individuals will ignore the obvious. Their brains’ thought patterns will filter information based on their beliefs, emotions, desires, or ease of acceptance. When this occurs, important details of an action are missed, not recognized or accepted even if they are so apparent as being the wrong decision.
It is then that those who employ cognitive bias find it difficult to admit they were wrong, hold on to the need to maintain a certain self-image, lay blame on another.
I believe in our current Washington, D.C., administration, this is occurring. The need to shrink government involvement, expenditures is a goal that most will accept, but it is the “how” such an approach is made that is important.
As the idiom goes: “Don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater,” one needs to be very careful not to get rid of something valuable, or in government terms, “mandated”, when attempting to rid of something unwanted.
As we see the action under the questionable DOGE initiative, implemented under a “who is this” appointee, such decisions being made are having and will continue to have a negative impact on the life, environment and working conditions we all have experienced in a very favorable manner. Many of which we have fought for and finally have achieved.
The obvious miscalculation, unacceptable actions, poorly identified targets by this current, questionable DOGE administrator is an obvious miscarry under the current administration.
The question then is posed to the administration and other politically affiliated officials, “When is the obvious, obvious”?
God Bless America

What do Central
Committees do
for political parties?
DEAR EDITOR:
Civics 101 briefing: Washington, D.C., state, county, and township governing entities and an overlooked body of elected representatives significantly affect your daily life.
Every county in Ohio has, as defined by law, namely the Ohio Revised Code 3517.03, a county Central Committee being the controlling committee elected by you, respective to each major party. Each county’s distinct voting precinct district citizens elect one representative. Under its authority are its officers, formed Executive Committee, and sub-committee(s).
The Central Committees’ primary purpose is to advance forward candidates who filed petitions successfully for ballot placement. It also by internal vote, names for recommendation or actual appointment replacements as applicable within county and state office vacancies.
Multiple Ohio county Republican Central Committees have had to engage an arduous undertaking to recover their lawful authority as the controlling committee from renegade and self-empowering chairpersons. By-laws have been craftily reconstructed, effectively subverting the lawful authority and controlling power of the citizen’s representative elected officers. Often, vote-banking has been set in place to overtake the Central Committee elected officer’s votes, effectively shutting out the voice of representation.
Consequences of power seizing have been the anointing of pre-determined primary candidates, sidelining others, and strong-arming wannabe candidates from the ballot. Concentration of power mixed with attractive government paychecks and weak candidates wanting campaign money and a job further empowers the “Candyman.” The “Candyman” in boasting arrogance passes out candy, audaciously and ghastly executes tyrannical power, political lawfare, “Wrap-Up Smear” tactics, “unchosen candidate’s” personal destruction, censorship, and aggressive egregious punishment of deemed dissenters.
Today’s news is replete with reports of seized power which no longer represents the citizen but instead self-interests. Unelected cherry-picked bureaucratic cronies overtake duly elected representatives propagating corruption, self-empowerment and money games.
Freedom of speech personally and by representation is at the core of our constitutional liberty! J.D. Vance in Munich addressed the censorship and criminalization of freedom of speech. The seed beds of tyranny must not be enabled to cross pollinate! “Making America Great Again” and “D.O.G.E.” are causing the “Good Ole Boy Club” to panic fearing exclusive power loss! The strategic manipulative forceful hijacking of your rightful lawful power of representative voice must stop!
The Central Committee elected officers are your county lawful representatives! Know them!
Ensure that they represent you not the self-empowered and cronies! Stand with them as they stand for you! They are up against a mendacious “Candyman” “Good Ole Boy Club!”

So much damage
in just a month
DEAR EDITOR:
Supporters of 47 soon may realize the light they thought reflected from their golden idol is flashing from EMT vehicles as the chronic liar and felon creates life-threatening crises for America, its citizens and the world.
In just over a month, he has created a mess that no one voted for, not even those who “liked his policies.”
Did Trumpers at least get lower gas and grocery prices? Nope, inflation is roaring back. Only 47 can fix it, maybe with a Sharpie as he has hurricanes. The economy will tank as the thrice bankrupt “business genius” imposes tariffs raising prices for most imports. Citizens expecting help recovering from disasters, a primary function of government, see TV commercials praising the Great Trump produced with their tax dollars while help is short and late. 47 has fired many who could help. And no, no one is any safer for his petulant and purposeless pruning of the military and pardoning of 1/6 violent rioters; some have been rearrested. Pentagon savings “will be used for (as yet unnamed) purposes later.” Ditto, I suspect, for the freed insurrectionists. Mysterious, eh?
Trump claims he made our country “respected again.” HAH! Canadians, who share with us the longest border in the world, who over 200 years have been good neighbors and leading trade partners, now boo our national anthem at sporting events. Trump has insulted their sovereignty, claiming they should be our state and imposing ill-conceived tariffs. NATO, which has kept the peace in Europe since WWII, finds his betrayal of Ukraine and coziness with invader Putin alarming enough to look for leadership and alliances outside the U.S. Others laugh at us or shake their heads at his crassness. If 47 grifts the rare earth resources of Ukraine, in exchange for armaments already authorized, he will complete the “perfect call” attempted extortion for which he was impeached. Next, he may help Xi Jin Ping insist Taiwan is Chinese property. The conflicts of interest and illegal uses of congressionally authorized funds by 47 and his data grabbing co-president need more space than available here.
The sooner Trump and his train of incompetents and pardoned criminals are tossed out by voters factually informed of the truth, the better for America. Until then, the democracy Americans value will stand opposed to the self-serving, power-grabbing, book-burning, science-denying, Big Lie criminal regime he leads and the cowering hypocrites in Congress who slavishly follow and enable him.

Support universal
free school meals
for Ohio students
DEAR EDITOR:
As a health care professional, father of two and volunteer with the American Heart Association, I am writing to urge Gov. Mike DeWine to prioritize the well-being of Ohio’s children by supporting universal free school meals.
Our school-aged children represent one of our greatest resources. It is our collective responsibility to ensure they have the foundation they need to grow physically, develop socially and emotionally and excel academically.
Proper nutrition is a cornerstone of this foundation. Research shows that every dollar invested in school meals yields over two dollars in benefits, including improved educational outcomes, better health and long-term savings on healthcare costs.
Free school meals would also alleviate financial strain on many Ohio families. With the cost of living rising, families just above the poverty line — who often do not qualify for meal assistance — are struggling to make ends meet. Providing universal free school meals could save families up to $1,200 annually per child, freeing up funds for other essential expenses like housing and healthcare.
Moreover, integrating universal school meals into Ohio’s budget would reduce the burden on community food banks, which are increasingly stretched thin.
By including this initiative in the 2025 budget, Gov. Mike DeWine has the opportunity to strengthen support for working families and ensure that no child in Ohio goes hungry.
Investing in universal free school meals is an investment in our children’s future and the economic prosperity of our state. I respectfully urge Gov.
DeWine to make this critical commitment.
