Deny Johnson’s election at YSU
DEAR EDITOR:
According to this newspaper, Representative Bill Johnson feels he will be good for Youngstown State University. I do not agree with this simply because he is an election denier.
Having talked to people that are involved in education, I think they could better explain why he is not a good choice. As far as the Republican Party in Ohio is concerned, he is a great choice because they have spent the last 25 years undermining the public education system in Ohio.
I am a YSU graduate, and even though I now live in Pennsylvania, my heart is still in Ohio. I only wish I had the power and authority to vote in favor of not certifying his election.
