If the Biden administration gets its way, and it is highly probable that it will, a gentleman named Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus will be directing the United States' next response to a "World Health Emergency," which, by the way, is just around the corner. Who is Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus? He is the World Health Organization's director general.
Our Health and Human Services Secretary, Xavier Becerra, teamed up with the WHO director to enter into a legally binding accord. This accord will give WHO authority to declare and manage a world health emergency. This group will decide what constitutes a world health emergency and dictate the world's response. This may include what populations are mandated to take a prescribed vaccine, what prescriptions doctors may prescribe or not prescribe, or even if one's mother must die alone in a nursing home. Perhaps they may even order doors to be nailed shut during a forced lockdown much like China did during that country's mandatory lockdown. After all, WHO is the same outfit that lavished praise on China for its coronavirus response.
Before you doubters say the accord does not state anything about lockdowns or other specific measures, I ask, why would it? It is all covered under vague decrees that more or less give WHO total discretion in all areas.
President Donald Trump terminated the U.S. relationship with WHO, accusing the organization of being under China's control. In one of his first acts as president, Joe Biden retracted that decision. Hands down, the Oscar for the most incredible amount of damage by one administration in little more than two years goes to the current administration.
