DEAR EDITOR:

Here is a thought, outlandish as it may seem. In light of mounting, damning evidence clearly showing that the former president is a master criminal, how can all of his minions who believed these lies now reprogram their thinking to reality and truth?

Exorcism! Don’t laugh! So many of these gullible followers of Trump fashion themselves as good Christians. Even though they learned in Bible study that Satan started out as an angel of light, Satan wanted all power for himself, therefore was banished from the realm of truth.

Perhaps a good old dose of exorcism is what is needed to get back to the truth.

As long as insidious lies and power grabbing are valued above all else, we as a nation cannot prevail as a democracy.

So many Americans need a reprogramming to recognize right from wrong and good from evil.

Of course this writer is being cynical suggesting exorcism as a realistic solution to our growing love of fascism and individual power as opposed to democracy, but what the heck, perhaps it could work!
