Trump deserves a just punishment
DEAR EDITOR:
This is in response to Cal Thomas column titled, “Do not prosecute Trump.”
Donald Trump incited the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and committed series of criminal acts that were against the Constitution and the country. He had no regard for the people, members of Congress or the vice president. His actions were selfish and unlawful, and people died from the riot action.
To let him not pay for his behavior will be a crime against America. He deserves to be punished.
Trump is a disgrace to his party and to his country. I am an American veteran.
