Why the hate? We are all alike
DEAR EDITOR:
Why do people, and I mean all people, have to look at each other and only see the differences? Can’t we see how much we all are alike? We want to be loved, to have a home, a family, a good job. We all want to be needed, wanted, to belong, to create, to serve, to express joy and understand sadness. Because life isn’t perfect, we need to accept, learn and grow forward. This is the human experience.
Why does the color of one’s skin, nationality, religion or any other demographic become so all consuming? We are in a pandemic, not from COVID-19, but from fear — fear of difference.
We will win the battle over the virus. Can’t we win at humanity?
All are born into this world and all will die; it’s how we treat each other in between that makes all the difference.
