DEAR EDITOR:

It is a far cry from Merlin. Cast your spell upon thy land. “It’s a witch hunt and a sham!”

That echo has timbered around the world. Called out by our 45th president. The self-proclaimed “Chosen One,” where no president before him could handle the state of affairs as well as Donald Trump. Managing to resurrect our ill times in American history.

Salem, Massachusetts: Approximately 80 people were accused of practicing witchcraft in a witch hunt that lasted throughout New England from 1647-1668; 13 women and two men were executed. Following were the 1692 Salem witch trials, having 20 people executed.

What it all boils down to our president called upon another country to help boost his future election, having held back money to persuade them to do so.

That act alone, activated Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in our Capitol. High crimes and misdemeanors rang out, as you seem to have categorized it in your own fashion.

What the president failed to realize is that witches are people who practice witchcraft, using magic spells and calling upon spirits for help or to bring change.

Possibly, this president may soon find out our honored Constitution has some solemn magic of its own.
