DEAR EDITOR:

Kate Steinle was killed, allegedly by Jose Zarate, on a pier in San Fransisco.

Zarate’s defense was that he found the gun and it went off accidentally and killed Kate. The sanctuary city of San Fransisco bought this line and let him go. He was charged with gun possession as a convicted felon. Again San Fransisco let him walk.

He had been deported five times and was under custody before being released by San Francisco. Now the U.S. Attorney plans to bring federal charges against him. Hold your breath to see if he will again walk.

What a shame that so many lives have been lost to immigrants who illegally cross our southern border and it seems no one in the Washington, D.C., swamp cares.
