John J. Porubensky 1944-2026

YOUNGSTOWN — John J. Porubensky, 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown. John was born March 18, 1944, in Youngstown, a son of John and Ann Samplak Porubensky, and was a lifelong area resident. He was a 1962 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and attended St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church. He worked as a scrap burner at WCI for 42 years.
