Tom loved and owned Corvettes, attending the Lowellville car shows, and golfing at Knoll Run Golf Course. He was a devoted Ohio State fan and also enjoyed following the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Guardians and Pittsburgh Pirates.

Tom and Mary Ellen enjoyed their weekly trips to Hollywood Gaming, Mountaineer, and Presque Isle. Above all, one of Tom's greatest joys was being "Papa" to his grandchildren.
