NORTH LIMA -- Sandra Kay Elliott Wells, 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 25, 2026, in the care of hospice, surrounded by the love of her family.
Sandra was born Dec. 10, 1943, in Youngstown, the daughter of Randall and Roberta Glock Elliott. She was a 1962 graduate of South High School.
Sandra was a hardworking, single mother. Her greatest joy was witnessing the growth and success of her three children, Andy (Tami) Pompeii, Polly (Ed) Emerick and Jerry (Tracy) Pompeii, whom she leaves behind. In addition, she leaves three grandchildren, Samantha Pompeii, Katelyn (Fred) Herdman and Jerry Pompeii; two great-granddaughters, Andy and Roberta Herdman; her sister, Carol (Ed) Jay; her brother, Bob (Lynn) Elliott; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Besides her parents, Randall and Roberta Elliott, she was preceded in death by her twin brother, Jack Elliot.
Sandra was a prayerful woman. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her family and shopping on QVC. She will be most remembered for her warm smile and unique sense of humor.
She will be deeply missed yet we know she is finally at peace.
Respecting her wishes, there will be no services.
Her family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Hospice House in Poland.
