STRUTHERS - Philip J. Ceplice, 87, of Struthers, died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026, at the Greenbrier Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Boardman.
He was born March 31, 1939, in Youngstown, to the late Peter (Emma Wolfe) Ceplice.
He graduated from Struthers High School in 1956.
He worked several years for the Youngstown Sheet & Tube Steel Company. He served during the Vietnam era as a Military Policeman.
Phil was a lifelong resident of Struthers and a member of the Struthers Athletics Boosters, helping with many of the home football games. He was a member of the American Legion of Struthers.
Phil was a loving and faithful son for both his parents, especially during their retirement years.
Surviving are his brother, Thomas (Verla) Ceplice of Zanesville; a niece, Karissa (Boris) Ceplice Polon of Costa Rica; and several grandnieces and nephews.
Funeral services are incomplete at this time.
