GIRARD - Patricia Anne Bleidt, 92, of Girard, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026.
Patricia was born Aug. 2, 1934, in Little Rock, Arkansas, a daughter of Leonard George and Frances Elizabeth Duncan Bleidt.
She was a University Administrator and a Music Instructor from 1972 to 1995.
Patricia was involved in many committees and received many awards; some of the awards were Youngstown State University, Distinguished Service Award, Outstanding Student Organization Advisor Award Youngstown State University, Outstanding Student Services Award, Outstanding Woman on Campus Youngstown State University, and Heritage Award.
Many of her memberships and honorary organizations were the American College Personnel Association, National Association of Student Personnel Administrators, National Orientation Directors Association, Ohio College Personnel Association, Ohio Association of Student Personnel Administrators, Cardinal Key, Pi Kappa Lambda and Phi Kappa Phi.
She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her nephew Leigh Banks and his family of North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Patricia passed away with her friend Daisy K. (Dean) Evans of Hubbard, at her side. Aunt Pat will be missed by Daisy's daughters, Kristina and Deanna, and their families. She will be missed by her friends at YSU and many other special people that cared for her in the last five years.
Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Thelma Banks.
Memorial services will be held at a later date at Roselawn Memorial Park in Little Rock, Arkansas.
