Pamela Brown

STRUTHERS - Pamela Sue Brown, 72, formerly of Boardman, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, at Maplecrest Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Struthers, surrounded by her loving family.

Pamela was born June 13, 1954, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Dr. Wayne and Belva Hardin.

A lifelong resident of the Mahoning Valley, Pamela was a graduate of Boardman High School, where she played basketball. During her senior year, the girls’ basketball team was inducted into the Boardman High School Hall of Fame, an accomplishment she was proud to share with her teammates.

Pamela worked at the General Motors Lordstown Plant for more than 23 years before retiring.

Above all, Pamela was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister. She cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her six granddaughters, who brought her great joy. In her free time, she enjoyed swimming and was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Pamela is survived by her three children, Carrie (Joel) Unroe of North Aurora, Illinois, Hillary (Michael) Tucker of Bloomington, Indiana and Grant (Ashley) Brown of Boardman; six granddaughters, Keeley Unroe, Kiera Unroe, Charlie Unroe, Riley Tucker, Hannah Tucker and McKenna Brown; her sister, Terri (Al) Yeckel of Catawba Island; her brother, Gregory (Peg) Hardin of Shaker Heights; and her former husband, Jack Brown of Boardman.

There will be a luncheon held at A La Carte in Canfield.
