Linda Penman

HUBBARD - Linda K. Penman, age 79, of Hubbard, passed away on Monday, Sept. 28, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

Linda was born Aug. 4, 1947, in Youngstown, a daughter of John A. and Helen L. Reedy Lee.

She was a 1965 graduate of South High School.

Linda worked in merchandising at several area stores, later worked in sales at D & G Pools, and was the secretary at Church of the Rock in Poland.

Linda was always joyful; she and her son Mitch had a special song, “American Pie” by Don McClain. She loved putting puzzles together with her daughter, Cindi, her daughter-in-law Kim gave her the nickname “Pinky,” and her grandson Joshua loved her mashed potatoes. She enjoyed spending time with her dog, Calli. On their 50th wedding anniversary, they went on a special trip to Hawaii.

Linda loved the Lord and the Church of the Rock in Poland, where she was a member.

She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family: her husband, Richard H. Penman, whom she married Dec. 30, 1967; her son, Mitch (Kim) Penman of Struthers; daughter, Cindi L. Penman of Hubbard; and grandson, Joshua Penman of Austintown.

Her parents preceded her in death.

There will be services at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 5, 2026, with calling hours prior to the service from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Church of the Rock in Poland.

Linda will be laid to rest in Hubbard Union Cemetery.
