YOUNGSTOWN - Ken Nesnidol, 67, earned his wings on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2026, surrounded by those who loved him most.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Joan Daichendt Nesnidol, and his grandmother, Josephine Daichendt.
He is survived by his children, Samantha (Jason Axelson) and Timothy (Mia Battaglia); his sister, Suzy Tobin; and his partner, Hope Forchione.
Ken had a huge heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Born Dec. 21, 1958, he grew up in Youngstown and was a graduate of Wilson High School.
His career in logistics took him to many places. He spent many years working for Toys "R" Us before retiring from XPO Logistics.
Ken enjoyed working on cars, a good game of golf, tinkering in his woodshop and serving as grill master for family and friends. Above all, he cherished the time spent with those he loved.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Tri County Hematology, Dr. Norman Rafique and Dr. Michael Linz for the wonderful care, compassion and support they provided.
Family and friends will be received from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026, at the Rossi Family Funeral Home, 730 30th St. NW, Canton.
A Celebration of Life Mass will begin at 11 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Parish, 2040 Diamond St. NE, Canton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Ken's memory.
