WESTLAKE - Elizabeth Ann Ferrara DeGidio, passed away on Monday, Oct. 19, 2026, at the age of 93.

Born on Dec. 26, 1932, Elizabeth was raised in Youngstown, where she was valedictorian of her graduating class at East High School.

Elizabeth was a loving, kind and quietly strong woman with a wonderful sense of humor. Family was at the center of her life, and her grandchildren held a particularly dear place in her heart. She treasured holidays, vacations, and gatherings when everyone could come together, and she took great pride in making those occasions special. A gifted cook and baker, she delighted those she loved with homemade favorites. She also made decorated chocolates and maintained a beautiful floral garden.

Elizabeth leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and cherished family traditions. The food she prepared, the talents she shared, the laughter she brought to gatherings and the memories she created will continue to connect her family across generations. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony; her children, Anthony and Deborah; her parents, Angelina and Simone Ferrara; and her sister, Grace.
