RICHMOND, Va. -- Stephen E. Clark passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He is now at home with Jesus, his Lord and Savior, resting in the presence of the Lord.
Stephen spent his early years in Girard, Ohio, where he attended St. Rose School. After his family moved to Youngstown, Ohio, he continued his education at Ursuline High School and Rayen High School, graduating from Rayen.
Following high school, Stephen proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. After completing his military service, he attended Youngstown State University and earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance. He enjoyed a successful career in accounting spanning more than 30 years, serving in roles from manager of corporate accounting to controller.
Stephen's faith in Jesus Christ was central to his life. He was a member of Faith Landmarks Ministries in Richmond, Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jane and Paul Clark: and his brothers, Craig Clark and Peter Clark.
Stephen is survived by his children, Lesli Brower of Cincinnati, Lester Clark of Cleveland, and Stephani Clark of Atlanta, Georgia; and his six grandchildren, Selah Seifullah, Alanna Seifullah, Marcela Brower, Jordan Brower, Derek Brower and Bianca Brower. He is also survived by his siblings, Paula Clark-Ransom, Wanda (John) Clark-Jackson, Christopher (Marisela) Clark, Marilyn (John) Clark-Redd and Patrick (Vicki) Clark; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In keeping with Stephen's wishes, there will be no funeral service.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to The Community Hospice House in Chesterfield, Virginia, and its compassionate staff for the kindness, care, and dignity they provided to Stephen. Their support brought comfort to Stephen and his family and will always be remembered.
