MCDONALD -- Richard Brennan died on Monday, Aug. 31, 2026, at the age of 88.
Richard was born on Oct. 3, 1937, a son of Jack Brennan and the former Virginia Shood.
Richard married Judy A. Whitarce on Oct. 18, 1958, and she preceded him in death on Feb. 7, 2025.
He was a devoted member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Girard and enjoyed riding motorcycles with his son, Fred.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Linda (Michael) Badila of McDonald; son, Fred Brennan of Youngstown; sister, Jackie (Rodger) Brennan of Texas; five cherished grandchildren, Melissa (Jan) Badila, Valerie (Thomas) Domitrovich, Michael (Jessie) Badila Jr., Michael Rodriguez and Tacey (Chris) Schisler; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie (Joe) Carmendy, and his daughter in law, Mickey Brennan.
Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2026, at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m.
He will be laid to rest in Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
