STRUTHERS -- Margaret R. Klovis, 99, of Struthers, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026, at Hampton Woods.
Born on April 4, 1927, in Struthers, she was the daughter of the late Michael J. and Mary Pavlansky Petruska.
Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who cherished her family and the time she spent with those she loved. She was a homemaker who devoted much of her life to caring for her family.
When she worked outside the home, she was employed at various card shops throughout the area.
Margaret found joy in the simple things in life. She especially loved gathering around the table to play cards with her family and friends, creating memories that will be treasured for years to come. She had a special fondness for collecting dolls, bears and teacups, and she enjoyed spending quiet time working crossword puzzles.
Margaret is survived by her children, Diane Medvec, Joyce (Ronald) Granato and Robert S. Klovis; her sister, Mary Lou Zoldak; her grandchildren, John (Teresa) Medvec Jr., Daniel L. (Sarah) Medvec, Stacey (Carl) Newyear and Sera Sakara; and her great-grandchildren, Johnny Medvec III, Jared Medvec, Olivia Medvec, Gianna Hogue, B.J. Hogue, Patrick Newyear, Maddie Newyear, Ava Granato Burke and Omega Sakara.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Frank N. Klovis; her brothers, Robert M. Petruska and Michael J. Petruska; her sister, Pauline Trimacco, and her husband, Gene; her son-in-law, John Medvec Sr.; brother-in-law, Bernie Zoldak; and granddaughter-in-law, Sarah Medvec.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, 2026, at Kirila Funeral Home, 258 Poland Ave., Struthers.
A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. at Christ Our Savior Parish, St. Nicholas Church in Struthers.
Margaret will be laid to rest in St. John Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Kirila Funeral Home, Struthers.
