PULASKI TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Jack Allen Uber, 80, of Pulaski Township, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, at UPMC Passavant Hospital in Pittsburgh.
He was born on May 3, 1946, in Grove City, Pa., to Clair Jacob and Eleanor Luella Winger Uber. Jack married Susan Jane Morris on Nov. 28, 1969, in Philadelphia, Pa.
Jack graduated from Wilmington Area High School in 1964. Jack worked as a salesman for Sears, United Truck Parts and later AutoZone until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling on the road with his wife, Sue, as they visited their four daughters and grandchildren.
He was a longtime member of Pulaski Village Church, where he also served as a board member.
Survivors include his wife of almost 57 years, Sue; daughters, Jennifer (Brett) Becker of Cincinnati, Ohio, Lori (Jeff) Bartch of Burlington, North Carolina, Amy (Joseph) Regel of Gambrills, Maryland, and Amanda (Keith) Firle of McDonald, Pa.; and seven grandchildren, Kyra, Jackson, Derek, Jared, Ariana, Mya and Malaya.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Clair T. "Tom" Uber.
His family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, 2026, at the Smith Funeral Home, 310 W. Neshannock Ave., New Wilmington, Pa.
A funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026, at the funeral home, with Marcia Grim officiating.
A private interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child, www.samaritanspurse.org.
