CANFIELD --- Elizabeth Ann Holmquist of Canfield passed away peacefully Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026, at the age of 87.
Known as "Ann" to her family and friends, she cherished her family above all else.
Beloved wife of 67 years to David Holmquist, Ann and David lived in Canfield for more than 60 years before moving to Cincinnati to be near family in August.
Elizabeth was born in Canton and graduated from Jackson High School in Massillon, where she met her future husband, David.
She graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in education.
In addition to her husband David, Elizabeth is survived by devoted daughters Lynda K. Jarc and her husband, Chris, and Patricia Ann Holmquist; cherished grandsons, Andrew Jarc and his wife, Alex; and her great-grandchildren, January Kaye, Genevieve Marie and Sawyer Lyn of Fort Thomas, Kentucky, and Kyle Jarc and wife, Jessie of Lakewood, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Kaye E. Liber, and mother, Alice Gertrude Scranton Liber.
Elizabeth will be missed deeply, and we will treasure a lifetime of memories in our hearts forever.
