Alexander R. Inhouse 1989-2026

AUSTINTOWN -- Alexander R. "Alec" Inhouse, 37, of Austintown, passed away unexpectedly early Tuesday evening, Sept. 1, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

He was born April 13, 1989, in Youngstown, a son of Lisa M. Ludt Inhouse.

Alec was a 2007 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, and he worked as the Motorsports Coordinator for Summit Racing in Tallmadge for more than 15 years.

He married the former Misty R. Alcorn on Sept. 16, 2018. Together, they shared eight years of marriage and many happy memories. She survives him.

Alec was a car and motorsports enthusiast through and through and enjoyed customization, especially interior and upholstery. He was also a driving instructor with the former Auto Interests and raced with Spec Panther, with whom he made many good friends over the years, and more recently with Chin Track Days.

He was a loving husband, son, brother and friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Besides his wife, Alec is survived by his mother, Lisa, of Boardman; a brother, Anthony Inhouse, also of Boardman; and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Donna Millich.

Friends may call 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026, at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave., Austintown, with a brief service to follow.

Following services at the funeral home, a gathering and meal will take place at Rachel's Restaurant and Catering, 54 Westchester Drive No. 23, Austintown; all are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Animal Charity of Ohio, 8469 Southern Blvd., Building 3, Youngstown, OH 44514; or any animal rescue or shelter of the donor's choice, in Alec's memory.
