BOARDMAN - Virginia R. Rodway, 92, formerly of Lisbon, known to everyone as "Sally," passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026, at the Hospice House.
Sally was born in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of Julius and Jennie Cleckner Keehne.
She moved to the Youngstown area as a young girl.
She was a very proud graduate of South High School, class of 1951.
Sally was a homemaker and raised her family while living in the Poland area. She was an avid reader who enjoyed gardening and playing bridge.
She was a long-standing member of Good Hope Lutheran Church. Sally loved her church and made many friends over the years. She also was a member of the Priscilla Circle.
She leaves her two sons, Ronald J. (Debbie) Rodway of North Lima, and James (Janet) Rodway of Liberty; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Aaron) Young, Rebecca Campbell and Christine Velazquez, Michele Kent and David Kent; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves her special good friends, Dave and Alice Chapman of Poland.
Family and friends may call from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Aug. 22 at Good Hope Lutheran Church, 98 Homestead Drive, Youngstown, OH 44512. Calling will be followed by a service at 11 a.m., officiated by Pastor Bob Quintanance.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
