AUSTINTOWN -- Thelma L. Schuller, 84, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, at Hospice House in Poland.
She was born on June 10, 1942, a daughter of the late David Leroy and Wilma Reynallt Rhiel.
Thelma married John W. Schuller on Dec. 6, 1980; together they shared many years of marriage and wonderful memories. She was a 1960 graduate of South High School.
Thelma found great joy in playing bocce, bowling and boating. She enjoyed dancing and roller skating. Spending time with family and friends at Geneva-on-the-Lake was time well spent. She was a member of the Saxon Club and the Austintown Eagles. However, her greatest joy was found in her family.
Thelma leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and countless cherished memories. She will be deeply missed by her children, Janel (Keith) Sletvold and William (Jill) Koonse; grandchildren, Derek and Owen; as well as many friends and acquaintances.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill Schuller.
Thelma's family will receive relatives and friends from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026, at Lane Funeral Home, 5797 Mahoning Ave., Austintown, OH 44515. Funeral services will be held immediately following at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
