CAMPBELL -- Sylvia Rossodivita, 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Greenbriar Healthcare Center in Boardman.
Sylvia was born Sept. 19, 1930, in Toro, Campobasso, Italy, the daughter of Salvatore and Pasqualina Piunno Felice. Sylvia came to the United States with her husband, John, in 1952 and has been a lifelong resident of Campbell.
She was employed at the Weatherbee Coat Factory as a seamstress for 25 years.
She was a founding member of St. Lucy Catholic Church, the Infant Jesus Society, the Cultural Society, Campbell Senior Citizens and the Italian American Club; and she was a very avid worker in fundraising events for St. Lucy Church. She will be remembered for her baking, especially her pizzelles.
Her husband, John F. Rossodivita, whom she married on June 24, 1948, passed away Nov. 12, 1993.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Dr. Lynn Ross DiMarzio of Poland; her brother, Michael Felice; four grandchildren, Jerett (Carrie) DiMarzio, Christopher (Nicole) Rossodivita, Anthony Rossodivita and Bryan (Katie) Rossodivita; and seven great-grandchildren, Morgan, Meredith, Anthony James, Frankie, Arianna, Addison and Nolan. She also leaves her nieces and nephews, to whom she was very close, Jane (John) Torek, Lena (John) Pica, Joseph Iacobacci and Michael Iacobacci; and many friends from St. Lucy Church and her neighborhood.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; her son, Anthony Rossodivita; and a sister, Giovanni Partizale.
The Rossodivita family has entrusted Sylvia's care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell. Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, 2026, at the funeral home.
A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026, at (Sacred Commons Church) Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman-Poland Road, Poland, OH 44514, officiated by Pastors Jon Paul Robles and Diana Robles.
Sylvia will be laid to rest, beside her husband and son, in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Cemetery in Lowellville.
