HUBBARD -- Susan J. Mayle, 62, died peacefully at home on Saturday evening, Aug. 1, 2026.
Susan was born on Dec. 12, 1963, in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts, a daughter of Thomas and Barbara Hughes Thompson.
Susan was a service operator at Delphi, which was later APTIV, for 18 years.
She enjoyed fishing, swimming, camping, the beach, vacationing and spending time with her dog Bella. Susan loved time spent with her family, especially with her grandchildren.
Susan leaves her husband, Scott Mayle, whom she married on Sept. 1, 2017; her mother, Barbara Thompson; three sons, Matthew (Meghan) Schlitt of Warwick, Rhode Island, Stephen (Stacey) Schlitt of Poland and Zachary Deming of Hubbard; a daughter, Amber Deming of Hubbard; two sisters, Cheryl Thompson of Youngstown, Jennette (Bill) Sawders of Youngstown; four grandchildren, Aaron, Samuel, Cullen and Henry Schlitt.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Thompson; a sister, Pamela Meigs; her cat, Nibby; and her dog, Cuddles.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, 2026, at the Kelley-Cummins Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home, with the pastor Phil Roland officiating.
