CAMPBELL -- It is with profound sadness and an abundance of love that we announce the passing of our beloved Sandra J. Davila, 68, of Campbell, who peacefully departed this life on Monday, Aug. 10, 2026, surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Sandra was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished sister and aunt, and a treasured friend to many. Her greatest joy and most precious blessing in life was her family. She loved deeply, cared generously, and devoted her life to helping and caring for those around her.
Sandra was born and raised in Youngstown, and later made her home in Campbell. She was a graduate of East High School and Choffin Career Center, where she pursued her education in nursing.
For more than 31 years, Sandra dedicated her career to caring for others as a nurse. Nursing was more than a profession to her -- it was a reflection of the compassion, kindness and nurturing spirit that she carried throughout her life.
Sandra leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, her loving husband of 38 years, Miguel Davila; her two sons, Tramaine McDonald and Armand Davila; and her three daughters, Shanell, Falisha and Leonore McDonald. She also leaves to cherish her memory her beloved nieces, Nikki and Keisha D'Altorio; and nephew, Marvin D'Altorio, whom she lovingly helped raise and loved as her own; her brother, John D'Altorio; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends, and her furry companion, Bella Mae, who will forever cherish the love and memories they shared with her.
Sandra was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Agnes McDonald; her brother, Nicky D'Altorio; her sisters, Linda D'Altorio and Tammy McDonald; grandson, Elijah Scott; nephew, DeAndre "Babo" Stores; her niece, Ni'omi Stores; her sister-in-law, Debbie D'Altorio; her mother-in-law, Justina Davila; and her brothers-in-law, John, Louis, Joe and Manuel.
Sandra's life was one of love, compassion, strength, and service. The care she gave to her patients, the devotion she showed to her family, and the love she shared with everyone around her will remain a lasting part of her legacy. Although our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the years, memories, laughter, and love we were blessed to share with Sandra. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her beautiful spirit and the love she gave so freely will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Sandy will be forever loved, forever remembered, and never forgotten.
Family and friends may pay their respects from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14, 2026, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave., Boardman.
Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, at the funeral home.
