YOUNGSTOWN -- Lucy N. Pagan Torres, 85, passed away peacefully Friday, Aug. 14, 2026.
Lucy was born in 1940, in Orocovis, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Eulogia and Jose Pagan.
Lucy worked at Steel City and as a tutor, while also serving as a mother at home to five children.
Lucy loved to cook, sew, bake, make jewelry and flower arrangements, and spend time with her many grand- and great-grandchildren.
Lucy was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd-Saint Rosa of Lima Church and the Sons of Borinquen Lady Society. She also stood by her husband's side as he served in various leadership roles in the community.
She was known for her hospitality, sense of humor, smile and the love she had for her family. Lucy was affectionately known as Stella by her daughter, Evelyn.
Lucy was survived by her loving children, German Jr. (Iris), daughter-in-law, Ida, William, Nellie (Ricardo), and Evelyn; her 17 grandchildren; and her 25 great-grandchildren.
Lucy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, German; her son, Anthony; and her siblings, Jose Antonio, Antonia, Jose Angel, Hector Luis and Isabel.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Mercy Hospital and Hospice House for their support and care.
Family and friends may pay their respects from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, 2026, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave., Boardman.
Funeral services will run from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026, at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Lake Park Cemetery.
