SOMERSET, N.J. -- Linda J. Kostyshak Kenyhercz, loving mother, sister and friend, passed away unexpectedly to join her husband, Thomas, on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerset, New Jersey.
She was born on Nov. 9, 1950, to Alex and Margaret O'Brien Kostyshak, growing up in Struthers.
Linda married the love of her life, Thomas M. Kenyhercz, in 1973; and together, the couple lived in Cincinnati and West Lafayette, Indiana, before moving to Hillsborough, New Jersey, in 1977.
Linda attended Miami University of Ohio, graduating with a degree in computer science in its second-ever graduating computer science class in the brave new world of punch card computing. She later earned a master's degree in business management from Purdue University.
She worked for Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati until moving to New Jersey, eventually retiring from ExxonMobil after many years as a programmer and systems analyst.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Thomas.
Her memory lives on in her son, Craig; sister, Beverly Kostyshak Greene; brothers-in-law, Dr. Kenneth Kenyhercz and Dr. Christopher (Marsha) Kenyhercz; sister-in-law, Norene Kenyhercz; nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Kelly, Karly, Kyle, Mike, Kate and Will; and her found family of Belinda Halloran and children, Amy, Calvin and Abdul.
She was a member of multiple chapters of the Columbiettes, where she held multiple roles over many years.
Final arrangements for Linda were handled by Hillsborough Funeral Home, with interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery, East Millstone, New Jersey.
