Joseph T. Petrosky 1950-2026

HUBBARD -- Joseph T. Petrosky, 76, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026, at the Hospice of the Valley Hospice House, Poland.

Joseph was born March 12, 1950, in Sharon, Pa., a son of Victor and Anna Stofa Petrosky.

He was a 1970 graduate of Hubbard High School.

Joseph was a lineworker at Indalex Corporation in Girard, and later was a cleaner for the Hubbard Exempted Village School District.

He was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, where he was an usher and worked the Lenten fish fries and the Parish Festival.

Joseph enjoyed feeding the birds and deer along with working outside; was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers; and loved spending time with his grandkids.

Joseph will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his family, who include his wife, the former Debra Williams, whom he married July 6, 1974; his children, Jason Petrosky of Liberty Township, Michael Petrosky of Hubbard and Jennifer (Sean) O'Toole of Liberty Township; and two grandchildren, Lauren and Colin.

He also leaves his siblings, Bernard Petrosky of Girard, and Elizabeth Bennett of Warren.

Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Tamara Glaspell.

There will be a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 14, 2026, with the Very Rev. Michael D. Balash officiating, at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church.

Joseph will be laid to rest in Hubbard Union Cemetery.
