POLAND -- Eileen R. Robenolt, 87, of Poland Township, died Sunday afternoon, Aug. 16, 2026.
She was born Dec. 6, 1938, in Woodland, Pa., a daughter of Leo and Nellie McTavish Turner. She came to the area in 1957.
She worked briefly at ACC Preschool Childcare Center, in Austintown, and was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and bingo. Most especially, she enjoyed her family and spending time with them.
She married her husband of 71 years, Ardell Robenolt, on Nov. 4, 1955.
Besides her husband, Eileen is survived by two children, Cindy (Donald) Ellashek and Kenneth (Valerie) Robenolt; a daughter-in-law, Kristine Robenolt; a sister, Charlotte McBride; a brother, Gordon Turner; her grandchildren, Danielle, Donnie (Lori), Brian, Mark (Amanda), Tiffany (Josh), Nicole (John), Matthew (Kortni) and Serena; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Gerald "Jerry" and David Robenolt; and her siblings, Leo "Pook" and Mary, and Lavone "Bonnie."
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026, at the Lane Funeral Home, 5797 Mahoning Ave., Austintown, OH 44515. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., prior to the service on Thursday, at the funeral home.
