Betty J. Paolucci 1945-2026

CANFIELD -- Betty J. Paolucci, 81, passed away Tuesday evening, July 28, 2026, at Hospice House, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.

Betty was born March 7, 1945, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Pearl Orr First, and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a 1963 graduate of Hubbard High School and dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family, a role she embraced with love and unwavering devotion.

Above all, Betty treasured her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating lasting memories with those she loved most.

She found comfort in reading her Bible and enjoyed relaxing with her favorite Hallmark Channel movies.

Left to forever cherish Betty's memory her two sons, Brian (Lori) Paolucci of Austintown and John (Stephanie) Paolucci of Canfield; five grandchildren, Jonathan (Tori) Paolucci, Kevin (Kayla) Paolucci, Raquel Paolucci, Lauren (Patrick) Deemer and Nicholas Paolucci; seven great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Greyson, Briella, Roman, Gianna, Lucas and Callie; her sister, Margaret "Peg" (Pat) Simboli; her brother, Larry (Donna) First; and several nieces and nephews and extended family members.

Her husband of 53 years, Thomas H. Paolucci, whom she married Feb. 1, 1964, passed away March 25, 2017.

In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by two brothers, Benjamin "Sonny" First and Randy First.

Private family services have taken place at Kinnick Funeral Home, Youngstown.

Betty was laid to rest in Green Haven Memorial Gardens, Austintown.

Betty's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Peg and Donna for the tireless love, care and support they gave Betty throughout the last several years.
