Sheila K. Faber 1949-2026
IRA, Mich. — With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Sheila K. Faber, formerly of Hubbard, who peacefully departed this life Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the age of 77.
Sheila was a lifelong resident of Youngstown and a graduate of Liberty High School. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend whose kindness, strength and love touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she cherished every moment spent with those she loved.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Connie Faber and Jenise Begola (Jason). She was a proud and loving grandmother to Ryan Mierzwa (Kayla), Alyssa Ague (Seth) and Tyler Faber (Macayla). Her treasured great-grandchildren, Chloie, Emma, Bradley, Natalie, Levi and Tyler Jr., brought immeasurable joy to her life.
She is also survived by her sister, Carolyn Griffiths; and her brother, Jim Banks (Donna); along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory forever.
Sheila leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion and unwavering devotion to her family. Her warmth, gentle spirit and enduring love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
