POLAND -- Patrick John Nagy passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026, at the Hospice House, with his loving family by his side.
He was born on Dec. 23, 1947, in Youngstown, the son of the late Alex and Julia Frances Wirt Nagy, and was a lifelong area resident.
Patrick graduated in 1965 from Boardman High School
After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in April 1970.
Patrick worked for General Motors-Lordstown plant as a fork-lift operator until his retirement, after 35 years of service. After retiring from General Motors, Patrick worked as a lot attendant for the Sweeney and Cochran dealerships.
A member of St. Dominic Church, he enjoyed fishing, yard work, working on cars and most especially spending time with his family.
Left to cherish Patrick's life are his wife, the former Birgit H. Bartholoma; children, Josh (Skip Mack) Nagy, Clinton P. Nagy, Jennifer Nagy ( Eddie Barnhart) and Nicole (Dennis) Vlasaty; twin brother, Mike (Nancy), Nagy; and grandchildren, Kayla (Alex), Angle, Patrick Dorazio, Jon P. Zimbardi and Jenna Nagy; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents Patrick was preceded in death by brothers, Ronald Nagy and William Nagy; and sister, Cecilia Gardner.

A private Mass of Christian Burial was Wednesday, July 29, at St. Dominic Church, celebrated by Rev. Charles Rooney, O.P.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
