Manya Tsitrin 1934-2026

Manya was born on Dec. 3, 1934, in Kyiv, Ukraine, to Isaac Vishkovetsky and Yester Dubinskaya.

Manya immigrated to the United States in 1979, lived in Youngstown, and worked as a cook for Heritage Manor. She was best known for her delicious cooking and toughness. She enjoyed socializing, taking care of her family and traveling.

Manya is survived by her daughter, Alla; two grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, Mark, Tara, Dan and Allison; and great grandsons, Grayson and Porter; along with extended family in Ohio, Ukraine and Israel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pyotr; parents; and brother, Bob.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, at Temple El Emeth Cemetery on Granada Avenue.

Memorial tributes may take the form of contributions, in Manya’s name, to Heritage Manor, 517 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown, OH 44504 or other charity of donor’s choice.
